User Setup

User management is conducted via the AWS Cognito instance in each Customer’s AWS Account. The current process for adding new users is manual, using the AWS Cognito management console. If you would like 47Lining support to add, modify, or delete users within your Preview Deployment, please submit a support ticket and a 47Lining support agent will coordinate with you to make the changes on your behalf.

Authorization and Entitlements Management

Once users are added to Cognito, you can set up their entitlement within the OSDU™ Data Platform to manage what data they are permitted to see. To do so, use the OSDU Entitlements Service. Then, every time a user logs in, they are automatically assigned the appropriate entitlements defined for them as part of their entitlements setup.
